About the National Rehabilitation Association

Scholarship Fund

Thomas Stewart was the Governmental Affairs Director for the National Rehabilitation Association (NRA) from 1994 until his death in March of 2002. Prior to joining the NRA, Thomas spent 14 years on Capitol Hill as a legislative aide.

The memorial fund was established in the memory and to honor his belief in the important role advocates play in forming public policy. The Thomas G. Stewart Memorial Scholarship Fund was created by the National Rehabilitation Association (NRA).

The purpose of the fund is to provide financial support for the participation of 1st time attendees to the National Rehabilitation's Annual Governmental Affairs Conference. The Treasurer of NRA will review all applications and will make a recommendation to NRA's executive committee as to the number and amount of awards to be presented.
