About the National Rehabilitation Association

Message from the Executive Director

The National Rehabilitation Association is one of the Nation’s oldest, professional organizations working to enhance the lives of people living with disabilities by focusing on personal and economic development.

We are a network of more than 5,500 men and women from across the country committed to promoting ethical and state of the art practices in rehabilitation services. Our members include rehabilitation counselors, physical, speech and occupational therapists, job trainers, consultants, independent living instructors, students in rehabilitation programs and other professionals involved in the rehabilitation community.  As the oldest and strongest advocate for the rights of persons with disabilities, our mission is to provide advocacy, awareness, and career advancement for professionals in the fields of rehabilitation.

Members of the National Rehabilitation Association receive access to many opportunities, including earning continuing education credits through exciting educational seminars, access to information packed publications, and the opportunity to enroll in low cost insurance. An NRA membership will keep you in touch with cutting edge programs, focused on ethical and enlightened practice in rehabilitation. Membership also provides access to rehabilitation legislation updates from our governmental affairs department, and the ability to connect and network with other rehabilitation professionals across the country.

We invite you to review our materials and contact us with any questions or concerns you have regarding membership. Please call me at 1-888-258-4295 or e-mail me at Beverlee@NationalRehab.org to further discuss.

Working together, we can help to eliminate barriers to the employment and productivity of individuals with disabilities.

Thank you for your time, and I look forward to having you as a member!

Sincerely,

Beverlee Stafford
Executive Director
