	BOARD NOTES Click here for the latest minutes [PDF] MRA Committees MRA BOARD COMMITTEES Committees are comprised of MRA Board members and MRA members at large Annual Meeting Planning Committee *Responsible for planning & executing annual membership meeting @ MRC Public Policy Committee *Responsible for communicating with policy makers and the public regarding MRA policy, objectives, and advocacy positions; to help define and clarify MRA's public policy positions; and to advocate for people with disabilities and for professions within the Rehabilitation field Fundraising Committee *Responsible for at least one successful fund raising activity to support budget income Membership Committee *Responsible for developing strategies to retain and increase membership, to analyze and recommend attractors to be used as incentives, and to coordinate membership activities among all of the divisions. Communications Committee Overall charges of this committee are to communicate the Association's business, events, and activities to members and the public and to provide an avenue for communication back to the Association through various means and media. Communications Committee/ARM *Responsible to work with editor to solicit articles & advertisers for the ARM Communications Committee/Website & Listserve *Responsible for updating design and information on MRA website. Responsible for adding/deleting names on listserve and sending information to be distributed via the Listserve Communications Committee/ Public Relations *Responsible for creating updated material to be used for member recruitment, information material for education and advocacy and recommending creative, technologically up-to-date ways of presenting the information electronically and in hard copy, as needed. This committee will probably not write the material but use information generated by Governmental Affairs and Membership Join Michigan Chapter today!
