Chairman Miller Announces Ed and Labor Committee Chairs and Membership

Earlier today, the Committee on Education and Labor (formerly the Committee on Education and the Workforce) met behind closed doors to select its Subcommittee Chairs and Subcommittee Membership.

CHAIRMAN MILLER ANNOUNCES EDUCATION &
LABOR SUBCOMMITTEE CHAIRS AND MEMBERS
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Democratic members of the House Committee on Education and Labor met this morning and approved Subcommittee Chairs and memberships for the 110th Congress, Committee Chairman George Miller (D-CA) announced today. The recommendations will be sent to the full Committee for final approval next week.
“The Democrats on the Education and Labor Committee are smart, talented, hard-working men and women from diverse backgrounds, and they will make the Congress and the country proud,” said Miller. “I am eager to work with them this year on growing and strengthening America’s middle class.”
