Categories of membership
Member
Full membership is available to all individuals interested in the advocacy of programs and services for people with disabilities. It includes professionals employed in the field of rehabilitation and related areas, vendors and other providers of services, as well as advocates for rehabilitation who wish to be actively involved in the goals and activities of NRA.
Members are eligible for all rights and benefits, including subscriptions to the Journal of Rehabilitation and Contemporary Rehab newsletter, as well as voting and holding office at chapter, regional and national levels.
Student member
Student membership is available to all undergraduate students who have a minimum of eight (8) hours per semester or the equivalent or any graduate student who has a minimum of six (6) hours per semester or equivalent and do not currently work in the rehabilitation profession. Student members are entitled to the rights and privileges of the Member category. Student membership expires with graduation, at which time you may join as an NRA Member.
Students must also submit the signature of a professor within your major certifying that you are enrolled as a student and are not employed in the rehabilitation profession.
